LVI. 1. Methosalem having answered his father Enoch said’: ‘If it is good in thine eyes, * my father’®, let me

put food? before thy face and then, having blessed our houses and thy sons, *and all thy family’, let thy people be glorified by thee; and then afterwards thou wilt depart,
- as God hath said 3.’ 2. Enoch answered his son * Metho- salem and said*: ‘Hear, my child, since God has anointed me with the oil of his glory, there has been no? food in me, *and my soul remembers nothing of earthly pleasure® nor do I desire * anything earthly °.

LVITI. 1. But? call all ® thy brothers, and all your? families, and the elders of the people, that I may speak to them and depart * as is appointed for me %, 2. And Methosalem hastened, and called his brethren, Regim, Riman !°, Ukhan”, Khermion, | Gaidal ], and ?? the elders of }3 the people, * and brought them all’ before the face of his father Enoch’. And having blessed them, he spake to them ”*.
